2. Studio Classes Terms and Conditions
Prior to attending your first class/event, embrace the following:
- Class Changes | While we at all times strive to deliver all our classes on time and as advertised, classes are subject to change or cancellation without notice.
- Teacher Changes | Teachers can be subject to change without notice.
- Late class entry denial | Late entry will not be permitted after class start time, to have attendees enjoy undisrupted experiences.
- Entry refusal | We have the right to refuse entry at any time, if we deem this necessary for the studio, team or community.
- Price Changes | Prices may increase from time to time to reflect increases in cost and value.
- Intro Offer only 1 time | Our Intro Offer (once for the mat studio, and once for the reformer studio) is only available on your first visit to each studio part. Misuse can lead to penalties.
- Credits system for Mat & Reformer Studio's at once: You can purchase credits to enjoy both mat and reformer classes at the best prices in Lisbon. Each mat class requires 1 credit, while reformer classes require 2 credits. If you have 1 credit left after your pack, it can be used for a mat class. Please book with this in mind and plan as you prefer!
- Bookings & Payments | Bookings are to be made via the website or at the studio, including payment. To book into a class you must either have credits in your account or pay at the time of booking.
- T&C Agreement | By booking into a class you automatically agree to the above terms and conditions.
- Liability | The Kynd Space is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation for classes that are late, changed or canceled for any reason.
- Final Purchases | The Kynd Space does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions on services or products for change of mind, injury, illness (unless proof of medical certificate which indicates time range of no movement allowed by doctor), change of address or any other reason. All purchases are final.
- Classes vs Events | The class passes and memberships exclude attendance at guest teachers’ classes and workshops.
- Pass is assigned to the individual | Passes and memberships cannot be shared, unless it is stated as a shared-pass. Anyone found to be sharing their pass or membership will be denied entry and have their pass or membership canceled.
- Gifts | Gift memberships are not redeemable for cash.
- Cancellation Policy & No Show for Credits | As a non-member using credits, you are allowed to cancel your class, latest 6 hours before start time. If you fail to cancel on time or do not show up, your credit will be deducted.
- Cancellation Policy & No Show for Members | As a member, you are allowed to cancel your class, latest 6 hours before start time. The second time (within 30 days), that you fail to cancel on time or do not show up, you will be debited a 10E late cancel/absence fee.
- Honor Conditions | All class offers, packs and memberships are valid to the conditions they are offered in. They start per date of purchase, for use by one person only and are non-transferable, cannot be suspended and nor extended. This is transparently outlined before and after each purchase, which students consent to when they purchase.
- Direct debit memberships | When you enter into a direct debit agreement, your recurring payments will be secured at the said rate for the defined period. Certain promotional memberships or purchases may alter this period, and the Kynd Space has the right to increase the direct debit after the defined period in exceptional cases of explainable reasons such as higher costs and benefits.
- Week Membership Cap | When having a membership that allows a predefined capped amount of classes possible per week, these credits are to be used in each assigned week and will not roll over to the next week.
- Failure in payment completion | A dishonor fee of E10 will be charged for any payment that is unable to be processed.
- Admin fees | The Kynd Space has the right to charge reasonable administration fees for students whose payments fail on a regular basis, given the loss of time and money on our end to solve this with you.
- Right to terminate | The Kynd Space has the right to terminate direct debit memberships for students who fail to respond to correspondence from the team regarding failed payments.
- Automatic Renewal & Cancellation | Memberships (not credits) are based on automatic renewal. Cancellation can be done up to 7 days before renewal is due. In order to cancel a membership, email request to care@thekyndspace.com. Your membership will last until the day of expiry. For clarity, when a month membership - email request is possible up to 7 days before expiry date. When a 3 months membership - email request is possible up to 7 days before expiry date at end of the 3th month. When this renews, it starts another 3 months cycle given the lower student price paid and package chosen by student, etc. Same applies to the 6 months membership and other available memberships.
- Blocked Passes | There are 3 smart retries for failed payments. When the 3th time it fails again, the system will automatically block passes from subscriptions whose payments have failed or have been disputed until the outstanding amount has been paid. Please resolve on your end before the studio can and will reactivate.
- Studio Closure | The Kynd Space closes during the Christmas and New Years period around 2 weeks annually.
3. Termination/ Freezing/ Injury Period
- Membership Termination | For memberships, you can terminate your contract with 10 days written notice latest before renewal date, via email to care@thekyndspace.com. It shall finish at the end date, not earlier.
- Refunds | Refunds, where applicable, will be made by bank transfer within a few business days. No cash refunds will be issued.
- Injury or illness: Pause | Members who become unable to attend and utilize their membership for temporary reasons due to evidential injury or illness (with a valid medical certificate) are able to suspend their memberships for up to one month, within agreement together.
- Permanent injury or illness: Termination | If life strikes and your membership can permanently not be continued due to illness or injury, backed up with a valid medical certificate, or work placement abroad: please communicate with us through written notice via email or in person at the studio with valid proof; so we can help you terminate your membership.
- Membership Freeze Option | We love for you to live life and we resonate when you share the desire to explore the many corners this beautiful globe has to offer. Therefore, as a Kynd resident with a 6 month membership, you are gifted the freedom to freeze your membership for a maximum of 30 days, in order to go traveling without payment deduction. You should provide written notice via email up to 10 days before the activation date. Just promise you’ll come back with the wildest stories and unforgettable memories to share OK?
- Violation | Any violation of the terms gives us the right to terminate your membership effective immediately at our discretion.
4. Studio Access
- Medical Advice Prior | Students are advised to seek medical advice prior to commencing any exercise if they are in any doubt about their physical and mental ability to engage in exercise. Participating in any form of exercise at our studio is at your own risk. You understand that classes may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death. You are expected to share with the teacher about any injuries in order for the teacher to best guide you for your own benefit.
- Individual Health Full Responsibility | It is your responsibility to let us know at all times if you have any medical or physical conditions that may affect your practice.
- You agree to be aware that teachers are not medical practitioners and any advice on your medical condition and your ability to participate in our classes is not binding.
- You are responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings. It’s recommended to not bring valuable personal belongings to the studio. It’s not the responsibility of the Kynd Space nor are parking fines incurred on your end.
- Living Barefoot | No shoes are allowed in the movement loft space itself.
- Lost & Found | Any belongings left behind will be kept in the lost property box for a maximum of 2 weeks after which they shall be gifted for charity purposes..
- Any equipment and facilities are to be treated with kindness, respect and care. Damage caused by you may be requested to be covered by you for repair or replacement.
- The Kynd Space reserves the right to close the studio for reasonably timed periods of refurbishment and holiday periods, which shall be notified to you beforehand.
- You are aware that any movement practice as such can involve risks of minor and major (soft tissue) injury, broken bones, joint injury and so on, with your practice being at your own risk. Therefore, you agree to practice safely and ask for assistance when needed. Our teachers are there to help and guide you.
- We have the right to refuse entry to anyone into the Kynd Space or classes for any reason around breaching the terms and conditions or causing emotional/physical harm.
5. Intellectual Property
- All content included in or on the website (including but not limited to, text, design, graphics, code, and any other arrangements) is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Unless provided written agreement, we do not grant you the right to use, reproduce, modify, upload or distribute our content for your own Kynd Space-unrelated business benefit.
- Access to the website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in case of a system failure, required temporary maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control. We do however aspire the website to be available greatly for 24 hours a day.

- You are responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings. It’s recommended to not bring valuable personal belongings to the studio. It’s not the responsibility of the Kynd Space nor are parking fines incurred on your end.
- Living Barefoot | No shoes are allowed in the movement loft space itself.
- Lost & Found | Any belongings left behind will be kept in the lost property box for a maximum of 2 weeks after which they shall be gifted for charity purposes..
- Any equipment and facilities are to be treated with kindness, respect and care. Damage caused by you may be requested to be covered by you for repair or replacement.
- The Kynd Space reserves the right to close the studio for reasonably timed periods of refurbishment and holiday periods, which shall be notified to you beforehand.
- You are aware that any movement practice as such can involve risks of minor and major (soft tissue) injury, broken bones, joint injury and so on, with your practice being at your own risk. Therefore, you agree to practice safely and ask for assistance when needed. Our teachers are there to help and guide you.
- We have the right to refuse entry to anyone into the Kynd Space or classes for any reason around breaching the terms and conditions or causing emotional/physical harm.
5. Intellectual Property
- All content included in or on the website (including but not limited to, text, design, graphics, code, and any other arrangements) is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Unless provided written agreement, we do not grant you the right to use, reproduce, modify, upload or distribute our content for your own Kynd Space-unrelated business benefit.
- Access to the website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in case of a system failure, required temporary maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control. We do however aspire the website to be available greatly for 24 hours a day.
- Your personal information and any other material you transmit or post to the website or another of Kynd’s channels, you agree to sharing with The Kynd Space which enables the allowance to incorporate (such as images, sounds, text) for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
- You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from the Website, or on any of the socials of The Kynd Space, any material that is: threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy, or which may cause annoyance to, or inconvenience for, us or any other person or anything that is technically harmful (including, without limitations, computer viruses, logic bombs, Trojan horses, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other malicious software or harmful data).
- When publicly sharing photos made at The Kynd Space, we ask you to honor credits to the studio by mentioning and tagging the website/instagram visibly, for copyright reasons.
